IH Nice Summer Campus is our new summer residence for teenagers.
Located in a serene corner of Nice, 20 minutes from the beach by foot, the campus houses 60 students and features a cafeteria, numerous classrooms and sports fields.
Throughout the rest of the year, the campus is called lycée Paul Augier and can be found at 163 Boulevard René Cassin, 06203 Nice, France.
This programme is aimed at students who have studied the language for at least a year. It must be noted that complete beginners are not accepted and that students should be aged between 10 and 16.
The classes will be made up of small groups of maximum 15 students with a similar level of French and are based on active practical work and role-play, ensuring that the students get plenty of practice in real French life as well as having fun! The International House teachers specialise in teaching French to young foreigners and every student is encouraged to participate in class as much as possible.
Lessons are from 9 am to 12.15pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. At the end of their stay each participant will receive a certificate indicating their oral and written level in French, according to the standards set by the European Council. In keeping with the reputation of International House we make every effort to ensure that our students receive lessons of high quality which are adapted to suit their needs.
The package includes:
-French classes Monday to Friday with experienced teachers (Monday-Friday 9:00 - 12:15)
-Classroom materials
-Shared room in the residence with breakfast, lunch and dinner
-Insurance
-Social programme including beach and supervised games during the week and two full day excursions or outdoor activities at weekends.
-Return transfers from the airport to the campus
