English Exam Preparation 30 lessons per week
Qualifications: Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE)
Levels: Intermediate - Level B1, Upper Intermediate - Level B2, Advanced - Level C1, Proficient - Level C2
This is an intensive course for students who have already achieved B1 level (or B2 if you wish to go for a 6 week course). The course will provide you with a thorough preparation for the FCE exam. The lessons will be dedicated to all 5 exam papers: Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking and Use of English. You will need an F1 visa in order to take this course.
On this course we use a coursebook which is designed to prepare you for the FCE examination. The coursebook combines extensive exam practice with communicative activities. Additionally, the teachers make use of a wide range of alternative and supplementary resources including authentic materials, audio and video recordings, online resources and so on.
Your progress will be monitored constantly in a variety of ways. The teachers will give you continuous feedback, assess your work in class, mark your homework, correct your mistakes and encourage self and peer correction. There will be regular FCE practice tests and a mock exam. You will also be required to do a lot of extra work outside of the class. Your teacher will give you homework and suggest various ways of working on the language, for example, reading books, newspapers and magazines as well as watching TV and listening to the radio.
At the end of your course you will receive a certificate of attendance. If you pass the FCE exam, you will receive an FCE certificate recognised by many institutions all over the world.
