This course is designed for people who wish to learn traditional Italian cooking as a complement to their Italian language studies. The Italian language course can be at any level as the student requires, and is held at our school. The Italian cooking lessons take place in the home of the cooking instructor. The wine tasting seminar is held in one of the best known “enoteca” in Rome.
After preparing their dishes, students enjoy an evening meal together with the instructor.

The Italian language school, "Torre di Babele", is officially authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education and has been in operation since 1984, offering Italian language courses in Italy for students from all over the world as well as training courses for teachers of Italian for foreigners in Rome. The school is also one of the founding members of the Association of Italian Language Schools in Italy, A.S.I.L.S. (Associazione delle Scuole di Italiano come Lingua Seconda).

- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund policy

- Bookings may be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to commencement of the course without penalty or fee

Visa refusal

Other terms

A deposit of 100 euros must be paid in advance as deposit. The balance due is to be paid at the start of the course and is not refundable.
Students unable to attend a course will be given a refund of the deposit, minus bank charges, provided they inform us by registered mail, email or fax at least 30 days in advance of the starting date. No refund can be given if notice is not received by this date.
