We are based in Puerto de la Cruz and Costa Adeje in Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain and specialize for about 15 years now in teaching Spanish to foreigners. Our school is officially recognized by the Cervantes Institute, is a member of The Federation of Associations of Spanish Schools for Foreigners (FEDELE) and we collaborate with CSN (The Swedish National Board of Student Aid). We hold the TÜV certificate of Quality Management UNE EN ISO 9001 2008. As well as learning the language you will explore wider aspects of Spain and its rich cultural heritage with a full programme of optional extra activities. Terms & Conditions: FU International Academy Tenerife North

- Services must be paid in full 15 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation policy

- The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person who booked the course.
- Where a cancellation is received 14 days after enrolment there will be no refund.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

Refund policy

- If a course is cancelled between 29 and 14 days before course start: 50% refund
- If a course is cancelled between 14 and 1 days before course start: 0% refund

Visa refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 150 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other terms

We close on public holidays. Classes on these days will not be recovered, except when two public holidays fall within the same week. Then, tuition of one day will be scheduled. Our groups are made up of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 students. If only one or two students have enrolled in a group course, the course will normally still take place. However, we will reduce the teaching time to 75% (two students) or 50% (one student). Courses may start in the morning or in the afternoon.
